Copyright

Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by governments, giving the creator of an original work of authorship exclusive rights to control its distribution for a certain time period, after which the work enters the public domain. Generally, it is "the right to copy", but usually provides the author with other rights as well, such as the right to be credited for the work, to determine who may adapt the work to other forms, who may perform the work, who may financially benefit from it, and other, related rights. It is an intellectual property form (like the patent, the trademark, and the trade secret) applicable to any expressible form of an idea or information that is substantive and discrete. Copyright was initially conceived as a way for governments in Europe to restrict printing; the contemporary intent of copyright is to promote the creation of new works by giving authors control of and profit from them.

Knowledge Management

Knowledge Management (KM) comprises a range of practices used in an organisation to identify, create, represent, distribute and enable adoption of insights and experiences. Such insights and experiences comprise knowledge, either embodied in individuals or embedded in organisational processes or practice. An established discipline since 1995, KM includes courses taught in the fields of business administration, information systems, management, and library and information sciences .

IS (ระบบสารสนเทศ)

ระบบสารสนเทศ (Information System หรือ IS) เป็นระบบพื้นฐานของการทำงานต่างๆ ในรูปแบบของการเก็บ (input) การจัดการ (processing) เผยแพร่ (output) และมีส่วนเก็บข้อมูล (storage)
องค์ประกอบของระบบสารสนเทศคือฮาร์ดแวร์, ซอฟต์แวร์, มนุษย์, กระบวนการ, ข้อมูล ,เครือข่าย
ระบบสารสนเทศนั้นจะประกอบด้วย
ข้อมูล (Data) หมายถึง ค่าของความจริงที่ปรากฏขึ้น โดยค่าความจริงที่ได้จะนำมาจัดการปรับแต่งหรือประมวลผลเพื่อให้ได้สารสนเทศที่ต้องการ
สารสนเทศ (Information) คือ กลุ่มของข้อมูลที่ถูกตามกฎเกณฑ์ตามหลักความสัมพันธ์ เพื่อให้ข้อมูลเหล่านั้นมีประโยชน์และมีความหมายมากขึ้น
การจัดการ (Management) คือ การบริหารอย่างเป็นระบบ เป็นการกำหนดเป้าหมายและทิศทางการจัดการขององค์กรนั้น ซึ่งต้องมีการวางแผน กำหนดการ และจัดการทรัพยากรภายในองค์กร เพื่อให้บรรลุถึงวัตถุประสงค์ขององค์กรนั้นๆ

Information technology

Information technology refers to both the hardware and software that are used to store, retrieve, and manipulate information. At the lowest level you have the servers with an operating system. Installed on these servers are things like database and web serving software. The servers are connected to each other and to users via a network infrastructure. And the users accessing these servers have their own hardware, operating system, and software tools.

• 1. Accuracy of Web Documents
  Who wrote the page and can you contact him or her?
  What is the purpose of the document and why was it produced?
  Is this person qualified to write this document

• 2. Authority of Web Documents
  Who published the document and is it separate from the "Webmaster?"
  Check the domain of the document, what institution publishes this document?
  Does the publisher list his or her qualifications?

• 3. Objectivity of Web Documents
  What goals/objectives does this page meet?
  How detailed is the information?
  What opinions (if any) are expressed by the author?

• 4. Currency of Web Documents
  When was it produced?
  When was it updated'
  How up-to-date are the links (if any)?

• 5. Coverage of the Web Documents
  Are the links (if any) evaluated and do they complement the documents' theme?
  Is it all images or a balance of text and images?
  Is the information presented cited correctly?
